Dance Visions Network

Heidi Sullivan Laroche is the owner and artistic director of Dance Visions Network, Inc.  Heidi has studied dance since the age of 3.  While in her early dance years, she quickly developed a love for the art and a strong interest in becoming a dance teacher.  With her ultimate goal in mind, Heidi directed her studies to include more technical training.  She studied under Susan Taylor, the former owner of The New Hampshire School of Ballet, who concentrated on the importance of technique, form, and vocabulary, especially in ballet.

Throughout her teen years, Heidi’s love was always dance.  She was awarded Cheerleader of the Year for the State of New Hampshire by the Manchester Union Leader, while cheering for Manchester’s  Central High School between 1986 and 1989.  Heidi attended the University of New Hampshire, where she studied dance with advanced level placement for ballet, jazz, and tap under the direction of Gay Nardone and Larry Robertson.  Heidi earned her tuition money by participating in the Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program, an official preliminary to the Miss America Pageant..  She held the titles of Miss Manchester, Miss Stratham Fair, Miss Winnipesaukee and earned the overall talent award in the Miss New Hampshire Pageant.  It was while Heidi was still attending college, when she started Dance Visions Network.

In 1991, Heidi was one of 19 young women selected out of a crop of over 350 for a cheerleading position with the New England Patriots.  Heidi scored among the top 5 during her auditions.  Her first year with the New England Patriots earned her the Rookie of the Year award.  She also earned the Line Captain Award and Best Dancer Award, for two years, during her career with the team, which ran for seven non-consecutive years.  Heidi was a captain for 4 of those years.  In 1996, Heidi was selected to represent the Patriots as Cheerleader of the Year which brought her to the Pro Bowl in Hawaii.  Heidi also performed at the 1996 Super Bowl in New Orleans, and the American Bowl in Mexico.  In her last season with the Patriots, she was chosen and contracted with Lone Wolfe Entertainment to become an All-Star Cheerleader, along with 5 other NFL cheerleaders to tour Japan and Korea for two weeks and to provide entertainment for our military.

She was the choreographer for the Manchester Wolves Arena Football Dance Team, an af2 professional team. for 4 years where she led her dancers to place among the top 3 dance teams in the league two years in a row.  She directed more dancers on her team than any other dance team in Arena Football.
Heidi has choreographed for the Miss New Hampshire Outstanding Teen Pageant.  She is currently a co-choreographer for the Miss NH Scholarship Pageant.

Throughout her career, Heidi has always believed there is importance in maintaining and continuing her studies of dance.  Heidi attends open classes at the Boston Ballet, Broadway Dance, and Steps in New York City, while on summer hiatus from the studio and during school vacations.  By hosting the Russian Ballet for 10 years at Dance Visions Network, she had the opportunity to study with Dmitri Roudnev, Andrei Klemm, Evelina Ganina, Yuri Vodolaga and Oksana Konyebeyeva.
